Leading tyre manufacturer Kumho has extended its Platinum dealer program to the Truck & bus Tyre market with the opening of its first Kumho Komplete Platinum dealer -Bernie's Tyres in Rockhampton.

Bernie's Tyres is one of 80 Kumho Komplete dealers around Australia and joins Central Queensland Platinum passenger car tyre dealers, Robo's Tyreworks in Rockhampton, Transit Tyres in Mackay and Teadmarx in Bundaberg.

According to Kumho National Trade Manager, Glenn Pearse the first Kumho Komplete Platinum dealer is a milestone for the Platinum dealer program.

"The Platinum dealer program has expanded rapidly since its launch in October 2011 and the opening of a Kumho Komplete Platinum commercial vehicle tyre dealer is further affirmation of its success," said Glenn Pearse.

The Platinum dealer program was launched to showcase Kumho's extensive line of passenger, 4x4 and SUV tyres in modern facilities with the highest level of customer service.

"Commercial vehicle customers demand the same levels of service as everyday motorists but also require specialist technicians who understand the individual needs of trucks and buses," Glenn added.

Bernie's Tyres at 84 Hollingsworth Street, Rockhampton is equipped for all commercial tyre needs including retreads and features off street parking and customer focused facilities.
