Leading tyre company Kumho has continued the expansion of its exclusive Platinum Dealer Network with the opening of WHEELS 'n TYRES at Rutherford in the Hunter Valley.

The Platinum Dealer Network was launched in Newcastle in late 2011 to showcase Kumho tyres through the best retailers and in two years has expanded to more than 30 stores nation wide.

Wheels n Tyres Rutherford is the second Platinum store to be opened in the Hunter Region joining Argy Tyres in Broadmeadow - the first ever Kumho Platinum Dealer in Australia.

The Rutherford dealer is also the second Platinum Dealership for Wheels n Tyres, which also operates, WHEELS 'n TYRES at Kunda Park on the Sunshine Coast.

According to Kumho National Trade Manager, Glenn Pearse, the opening of a second store in the Hunter Region demonstrates the success of the Platinum Dealer program.

"The Platinum Dealer network is growing on a national basis and the customer focus has proved to be a winner with customers," said Glenn Pearse.

"Newcastle has proven to be an important market for Kumho and the opening of a second store in the Hunter reflects the demand for service and value for money by tyre customer."

The new Platinum Dealer is located at 38 Shipley Drive, Rutherford and features family friendly waiting areas and off street parking as well as a modern workshop.

Wheels n Tyres sales director Grant Fowler feels the Kumho Platinum Dealer program and WHEELS 'n TYRES is a perfect match.
