Innovative tyre giant Kumho Tyres has set out to use Twitter to benefit the environment and raise awareness about their new affiliate Greenfleet.
Kumho and Greenfleet formed an alliance in March which sees a tree planted each set of Ecowing tyres the Korean tyre manufacturer sells in Australia.
Kumho has set out to plant a further 250 trees in June on top of the trees planted from Ecowing tyre sales just by getting behind Kumho and Greenfleet on Kumho's Twitter feed: @KumhoTyres.
According to David Basha, national marketing and training manager at Kumho Tyre Australia, every little bit helps when it comes to the environment and Kumho is supportive of the work Greenfleet does.
"We realise that not everyone is in a position to purchase Ecowing tyres at the moment so we're giving people the opportunity to support our arrangement with Greenfleet," said David Basha.
"We're asking people to show their support on Twitter and for each new follower who gets behind Kumho and Greenfleet, we'll plant a tree. It's as simple as that.
"Kumho proudly support Greenfleet and their work to combat climate change and improving water and soil quality and proving habitats for native animals."
Kumho can be followed on Twitter using the @KumhoTyres handle or by heading to the Twitter tabs on their Facebook page: www.facebook.com/kumhotyres.
