Kumho Tyres have been chosen as OE fitment on Hyundai’s impressive new Santa Fe SUV models with the high performance PS71 Kumho tyres selected to enhance the new model’s already great road holding, ride comfort and durability.
Hyundai selected the Kumho Ecsta PS71 in 255/45 H20 105Ys, for the top of the line models in its new SUV range, to deliver fine and stable driving with excellent handling and braking performance on wet and dry surfaces
The latest Kumho PS71 has been engineered with high dispersion ‘Micro Silica’ to maximise wear, handling performance and fuel efficiency
The PS71’s four main wide grooves direct water drainage out of the tread area performance resin, while increased durability comes from the application of new hybrid cap ply constructed from steel belts to strengthen the casing and the inclusion of a fabric insert into the sidewall ensures extra rigidity.
According to David Basha, Kumho Tyre Australia’s Director of Sales and Marketing, the selection of the Ecsta PS71 as OE fitment on the new Hyundai Santa Fe, underlines the regard manufacturers have for Kumho Tyres and its wide and diverse product offering.
“The fact that the World’s best automotive manufacturers including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Chrysler, Hyundai, Kia, GM and Ford have all chosen Kumho Tyres as original fitment on a variety of vehicles speaks to the performance and qualities of the brand and its tyres,” said David Basha.
“Kumho Tyres is a global brand and can support OE fitment in markets all across the planet. It is another reason why makers such as Hyundai have selected our tyres for its new models,” he added.
“Kumho defines itself through innovation and quality and it is clear the world’s automotive manufacturers understand and believe this philosophy,” Basha concluded.
Kumho Tyres original equipment tyres have been fitted as original equipment on BMW's 1-Series, 2-Series, 3-Series, 5-Series and X3, Volkswagen's Polo and electric ID4 models, while Mercedes-Benz selected Kumho as OE fitment on its high performance G-Wagon SUV.
