Kumho Tyre participated in VLN Series (Veranstaltergemeinschaft Langstreckenpokal Nürburgring) held on March 29 in Nürburgring International Circuit. Kumho Tire sponsored Twin Busch team and they participated in SP9 Class (5,200cc), the VLN 1 top class. The team with brother drivers won the last year’s VLN 8, and achieved total 5th rank in overall ranking. They participated in the racing machine with ECSTA S700, a racing tyre of Kumho Tyre. There are total 11 races in VLN Series including VLN 10 races and Nürburgring 24. In particular, Nürburgring 24 is famous as one of the top 3 European endurance races together with Le Mans 24 of France and SPA 24 of Belgium. It is a endurance race in an extreme situation in which durability of the car and tyre performance play decisive factors in the race. Every year, major finishing car companies such as Porsche, Audi, BMW and Ford, and major tire companies like Michelin and Dunlop participate in the race to compete their technology.
