Kumho Tyres supplies OE tyres to Mercedes-Benz G-Class Guard



 

Kumho Tyres announce the expansion of its already fruitful partnership with Daimler AG by supplying tyres for original equipment (OE) fit to the G-Class of Mercedes-Benz!  From September 2013 Kumho supplies its Solus KL21 in size 265/60 R18 110H for the iconic G-Class manufactured in Graz (Austria) – another boost for the overseas OE business of Kumho Tyres!

 





The Kumho Solus KL21 – manufactured in Kumho`s state-of-the-art plant in Vietnam and available from 16 to 20 inches – is an all purpose touring tyre that provides the capability in a variety of driving situations. The new symmetric pattern is optimized to low rolling resistance and its tread compound improves mileage and traction, the wide tread width provides driving stability and comfortable ride.

 

Since its launch the Mercedes-Benz G-Class is probably the best real Off-Road car all over the world. The Mercedes-Benz G-Class, short for Geländewagen (i.e. cross-country vehicle), is a four-wheel drive vehicle produced by Magna in Austria. The G-Class is characterized by its boxy styling and body-on-frame construction. It uses three fully locking differentials, one of the few vehicles to have such a feature. The car is built since 1979 and for this reason the longest produced Mercedes-Benz in Daimler's history, with a span of 34 years!
